Day of Dialogue Rock Ideas

Day of Dialogue was the first of apparently many discussions about...well, nobody’s really sure. The program, which ran from 8:55 to 9:1--uh, 10:25, was about discussing values.

The highlight of the day was perhaps the complete disregaurd for the form of communication our school is based on, in preference for a rock. “Used by Native American cultures,” the rock is supposed to promote sharing in conversation instead of commenting on other’s points.  You cannot talk unless you are holding the rock, which is intended to be passed in a circle except even that didn’t really happen. Here’s the very best of talking rock ideas.

The spirit of a non sibi.

A conch shell dedicated to Piggy.

A feather because it’s form the culture we’re appropriating celebrating.

A graphing calculator to remind us that our studies never stop.

A tennis ball.

The spirit of a non sibi.

A Harkness conversation.

A bottle of Adderall.

A flask full of my tears.

The prep that turns the discussion to college.

The deed of gifts.

A sponge.

A link of paper clips you made out of boredom from the basket of clips in Mr. Feng’s room.

A bowl of ramen.

Obsidian turtle.
