An Experience Exeter Mad Lib

During my Experience Exeter, I was hosted by __(person’s name)__. They showed up __(number)__ minutes late snacking on a __(body part)__ from Wetherall. A little bit irritated, I

__(rude verb, past tense)__ (at/on) them to demonstrate who was in charge.

__(person from earlier)__ took me to their Spanish class. Although I speak __(number)__ language(s), including __(a fictional language )__, I don’t speak Spanish. When the teacher looked at me and spewed foreign words, I made up a plethora of sounds and managed to accurately reply in Spanish, “Hello. My name is __(any name)__, I am from __(name of town no one has ever heard of)__, Wisconsin, I enjoy __(verb ending in -ing.)__, and I’m also looking at __(another prep school, preferably not Andover)__.

I tried speaking in English, and the teacher told me that I was a(n) __(negative adjective)__ being. Not sure how I felt about that. The discussion was about __(book name)__ and its character’s increasing ability to overcome __(form of adversity)__. Feeling so moved by the conversation, one girl said that she knew exactly what the characters were going through, because the same same happened to her when she did __(summer activity)__. Another boy declared his love to a squad of __(plural noun)__.

At lunch we both ate a(n) __(negative adjective)__ meal consisting of __(“food”)__, __(“food”)__ and __(“food”)__. To be honest, I hadn’t been forced to eat like that since __(year)__. In my hometown people usually just live off of a steady diet of __(adjective)__ __(plural noun)__. It wasn’t until the afternoon that I fully decided to come to Exeter, and I met __(name of someone at Exeter)__. In the short amount of time that I had with them, they taught me how to __(verb)__ without my hands. They left me with a sense of __(feeling)__ that still lingers with me today.

Overall, my Experience Exeter was a(n) __(synonym for exhausting)__ experience.

__(A very small number)__ out of 11 would recommend.
