Are They Gone Yet?
March 10 happend about a month ago, and hundreds of prospective students got acceptance letters from Bissel House. Sadly, many of the other schools want the brightest high school students. To make their final decisions and to see which sideline of E/a they want to participate in, many students attended re-visit day. Ahhhhhh, the glory days. I know everyone agrees. The best time of spring term besides principal’s day, and walking out of your last final. During Experience Exeter you get so much. First you can never get caught for being late. The students get you out of anything even if you don’t have a shadow. Sorry Mr./Ms.______ I got stuck on the path talking to parents of a future Exonian about life at the academy. Or an even stronger excuse: Sorry I had to find someone to take my shadow because I have sports next block. On a serious note, most kind-hearted teachers refrain from administering tests on Experience Exeter days. Nothing better than a math test getting canceled a day after its assigned. Also, second only to parent’s weekend, D-hall chooses its most delectable cuisine. I heard they fly in some five-star chef or something, winter-term D-hall surely isn’t capable of some of the stuff they make. Also, doesn’t the fancier dishes just brighten your day. Like, sure I just failed a Spanish quiz, but hey D-hall has clean dishes! But Experience Exeter isn’t all that it’s made out to be. It has it’s pros and cons like everything else. D-halls clean dishes and edible food can’t win my heart if I’m standing outside, and thats what im gonna be doing with theses damn lines. Like seriously can’t they just let the experience exeter kids skip fat block and head to D-hall before. Plus how am I suppose to finish my E block homework if I don’t actually finish lunch until 1:35. Plus, I have enough competition in my class i don’t need anymore. Y’all know what I mean, that one visitor in harkness that won’t shut up. Like what really what convinces an english teacher you don’t deserve a grade if a kid that hasn’t done the homework has better participation than you.Seriously though, congratulations to all the new Exonians, and brace yourself for a great 4/3/2/1 year(s).
