Cross Country had a great start to their season on Saturday, September 14 at the Choate Rosemary Hall Invitational. Though the race was not officially scored –– thus a winning team was not announced –– both the athletes and coaches believe that the “rust-buster” set the team up for success.

Prep Ved Reddy reflected on the race as a whole: “I think we did well in terms of staying in packs, especially the varsity guys at the front, and we pretty much dominated the race at Choate. We also did well in terms of pushing through the race and not giving up.”

“This was a great and solid start at Choate. I look forward to us the preps growing and developing throughout the course of this season to fill in the blank spots left by seniors,” continued Reddy. “I also look forward to achieving some great results with the team this season”.

“Running around and cheering everyone on after my race was the best part,” said post-graduate Lucian Glesier. “My race was the first one, so after we all cooled down and just cheered everyone on. It felt great to encourage them and be good teammates.”
