1/30/25 Highlight: Boys’ Varsity Basketball

The boys’ varsity basketball team had a strong victory this Saturday, winning by 30 points in an 82-52 blowout. The victory marks the 12th consecutive victory for Big Red, as Exeter now sits on an undefeated record. 

Starting off slow in the first half, Exeter turned it up in the second half scoring an outburst of points. “We did what we needed to do in the second half,” said senior Captain Tyler Bike. Senior Ryder Frost scored a game-high 29 points while Cade Furse also added 14 to the scoreboard.  

“We were well prepared heading into the game and we were able to execute,” Bike commented. “We stuck to the game plan, did what we needed to do, and got the job done.” Bike himself had an amazing game with great vision on the court dishing out assist after assist. 

The future looks unstoppable for Big Red as they have blown past all opposition this season winning their games. Even against competitive teams in their schedule their average margin of victory this season is over 20 points. They will face Loomis Chaffee this Saturday in an away game and this marks the 7th game before the annual face-off against Andover.
