Principal’s Day At Last
Here’s a look at how some Exonians celebrated Principal’s Day on Monday.
Lower Kat Parker:
“My sister is back from college so we spent time in Portsmouth just getting coffee and then we went for a drive and jammed. Then, I went to the mall and Trader Joe’s with some girls from the dorm and I bought a baguette. Day well spent!”
Senior Teffanie Goh:
“I went for an early morning workout at the gym with a group of friends, followed by breakfast at St. Anthony’s! The rest of the afternoon was much less productive though.”
Prep Harrison Murray:
“My Principal’s Day was spent with my advisory. We loaded in a red dragon, went to watch Captain America, ate hibachi, and bumped remixes to various tracks all the way home.”
Senior Levon Brunson:
“I slept on a rock, a bench and a train. Pretty typical Monday.”
Joon Kim:
“Principal’s Day provided me a day of rest and doing work, having pushed off homework for half a week. I was well rested and I spent half the day in Green Bean working, and it was overall a very relaxing day.”
Michael Shao:
“I biked to the Newfields country store and ate some good homemade ice cream.”
Timur Luke:
I spent my whole long(-ish) weekend doing everything spontaneously, and did what any Exonian would do given free time: made bad decisions and procrastinated more. But then I thought to myself, ‘maybe this isn’t such a bad thing, I mean did Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong become legends by planning in advance?’
Brandon Liu:
“I got a lot of sleep, which was nice, then woke up to an email notifying me that I’ll be on stricts until next September... yikes.”
