Beloved Exonians, Welcome back to campus! First off, we would like to congratulate the wonderful class of 2014 on making it through the year to the one and only, Senior Spring. There are only ten more weeks left until graduation guys, so now we get to enjoy the best of what Exeter has to offer: good friends, warm weather and of course, freshly printed diplomas. We’ve made it this far, so let’s finish strong!Although winter is officially behind us, its cold sting still lingers on campus. Even though it doesn’t quite seem like spring yet, we hope that it’s right around the corner. Jun Park ‘16 is one of the few that has already started dressing for the spring, bringing his brightest colors out of his closet. Sporting a bright orange quarter zip this week, the pop of color brightened up our classrooms and pathways. Matched with his bright personality, we’re glad that Jun is trying to bring spring a little bit early this year.At the same time, Katie McCarthy ‘14 rocked a nice, light polka-dot cardigan this week, giving us a preview of the light fabrics that the spring time brings. Spring Term outfits are done best when they’re not overdone—Katie nailed this. Simplicity is the key to looking your best in the spring, and her cardigan’s subtle pattern and color palette fits spring wear perfectly.Another marvelous red head from Bancroft impressed us this week. We spotted Olivia Reed ‘16 in not just one, but two incredible outfits this week. Early in the week, she opted for a loose-fitting, flowing paisley linen. The warm red tones of her blouse were highlighted by the soft-gold sparkle added as an accent on the split in the front, and Olivia’s matching gold sequined headband. So as not to overwhelm us, Olivia was wise to match this top with jeans along with adorable and unique leather flats with dogs carved in. Later, she reminded us that spring is on the way, despite the few cold days, with a bright, color-blocked sweater full of warm, rich colors and neon (we’re talking bright) pink rain boots. With her ruby locks, this girl pulls off color like no other.Sam Fier ‘16 also showed off a little spring fashion. She wore a simple outfit made up of a navy cardigan, jeans and cream leather flats, but her unique scarf really topped the outfit off. Navy and coral flora graced the lightweight material and the cream backdrop reminded us of her elegant flats and beautiful hair. We also spotted Sam wearing a vibrant emerald sweater earlier in the week, a great reminder of what color the grass hopefully will be in a few weeks. Both Sam and Ms. Down of our Admissions Office showed us that spring isn’t all about pastels. Ms. Down perfectly mixed winter and spring fashion in these cold March days with a dark grape-colored thermal and fun, oversized clear gemstones. Both these ladies never fail to catch our attention! Here between the winter Olympics and the World Cup, Will Edwards ‘15 showed his international spirit with a woven belt made up of the flags of dozens of nations throughout the world. This unusual and colorful accessory contrasted to typical khakis gave the whole outfit a burst of life. Go world!Sometimes facing the hard realities of the desolate beginning of Spring Term warrants some last-minute winter looks, and Gabby Snowden ‘15 closed out the season with a wonderful pseudo-leather jacket. The quilted jacket was a staple of this winter around the world, and Gabby’s fashion statements never fail to impress us. A classic look for a classic girl. Well done, Gabby!Warm weather is on its way, so don’t lose hope!  XOXO, Elle and Alec
