Happy November, Exonians! The cold weather has finally arrived, just in time for E/a. We love all the school spirit on campus this week with the latest ‘E’ sweatshirts. Normally we’d be mildly appalled at having so many people wearing the same article of clothing (with the possible exception of Bean Boots), but this week, we love it!Transitioning to winter well this week was none other than Miss Abby Ambrogi ‘16. We spotted her in a little black dress which she topped off with a dark, patterned wool peacoat. She managed to look both cozy and ready for the sun. Also gearing up for winter this week was Alix Hunter ‘16 and Amy Wang ‘14, who pulled out some adorable fox-themed sweaters. Amy showed off a cardigan with little fox faces peeking out the bottom of a navy blue and brown patterned sweater. Alix’s sweater, also a deep blue, has a less vintage, but no less fun feel. A little cartoon-esque fox stands bold in the middle of her sweater on a solid background. Well done to all these ladies!Even though the temperature has dropped, the lovely ladies of Bancroft weren’t afraid to pull out their skirts this week. Preeya Sheth ‘16 looked professional and gorgeous as always in a white blouse that contrasted beautifully with her chocolate hair, but her bright pink pencil skirt gave a youthful exuberance to her outfit, and we loved her houndstooth pumps. Keep your eye on this girl, she knows how to keep it classy. Genevieve Medina ‘14, who has one of the most unique senses of fashion on campus, kept it simple yet stunning with a black, vertical white striped pencil skirt, black tights and her favorite reddish-leather boots. Like Preeya, Genevieve showed that she is pretty in pink (BANC pride!) with a rose-colored cable knit sweater. She looked both sharp and cozy, and her ever-present smile topped the outfit off! Rounding it out for Bancroft this week was Gabby Snowden ‘15 who was spotted strutting her way around campus in a pair of black Lita’s. Ooh, kill ’em.Hope Logan‘14 stepped up the competition for Dunbar pairing a burnt orange v-neck sweater with a paisley purple and orange skirt. Asile Patin ‘14, track star and writer extraordinaire (also a beast at covering Chris Brown songs circa 2005) graced the campus with a tight black panel skirt paired with a maroon colored top. School spirit, smarts, and style, exactly how did you do it?Representing the gentlemen this week as Sahil Singhvi ‘14 who decided to be both warm and classy. He paired a navy blazer with a gorgeous blue and white scarf. Four for you Sahil!Office of Multicultural Affairs intern, Mr. Sala Abdo, has also been dressing to a T recently. This week we give him props on a bold style choice. He complemented a bright pink patterned tie with a light blue patterned shirt, and finished the outfit off with a cardigan and a black winter coat. Boys take note, sometimes making bold choices pays off. With fall quickly coming to an end, Jamie Hwang ‘14 is still holding on to the breezy and colorful season with a yellow Tartan skirt matched with a denim jacket and coffee-colored boots. Speaking of fall-colored shoes, Luis Ochoa ‘17 makes his second Trendwatch appearance with a pair of brown Bridwell shoes worn ultra-casually with dark wash jeans. The end of fall also means the end of Major League Baseball, and although sports jerseys are not a typical staple in our dress code, Zoey Payne ‘14 proudly sported a Boston Red Sox Jersey under her usual dress code attire last week, repping her New England pride after the Red Sox clinched their victory in the 2013 World Series. Go Sox!Trendwatch also wants to give a major shout-out to Ryan Magnuson ‘15 for the effort he’s put into his fall term outfits. Matching colorfully-patterned ties with solid shirts, Ryan looks more put together than ever. The journey from wearing plaid shirts with a striped tie to where he is today is a long one, so kudos to you, Ryan. With Winter Term just around the corner, you better get ready to bring out those winter jackets, Exonians. Happy E/a everyone! Beat Andover!
