We’re almost there, Exonians!Even with end-of-term stresses looming in all of our minds, most of you managed to avoid putting your shirts on backwards, and some of you even took it one step further. Jeanne Olivier ’15 wowed us this week (well, we can’t say we were surprised; she always looks lovely) with a unique blazer. This wool jacket looked like it kept her warm in the winter wind featuring a red, mustard and olive plaid with vintage gold buttons. Her white shirt, black jeans and signature leather boots provided a simple backdrop that allowed us to focus on this one-of-a-kind piece.A couple individual items stuck out to us this week. Stephanie Chen ’15 showed us that the most stunning looks are not over-the-top with a rich crimson cableknit sweater which provided a crisp contrast to her silky black hair. Although we usually view leggings as nothing more than class-appropriate pajama pants, Alex Rothstein ’17 made leggings a fashion piece this week with printed leggings. The pattern looked something like a white, wintery, sweater-esque snowflake pattern on stone-gray fabric. We spotted Ms. Parris in a flowy mustard maxi skirt. She paired this with a black t-shirt and colorblocked scarf, which cheered us up on cloudy Monday.Jacob Pressman ’16 showed great color coordination wearing a ravishing combination of purple tones, in the form of a lavender tie and dark purple cords. Way to go!Like we have said many times before, we don’t encourage the leggings and baggy sweater look, but we have to say Mary Claire Whelan ’14 actually managed to rock it this week. She paired a light orange sweater with a handknit baby and navy blue infinity scarf. Although she certainly looked comfy, she also looked cute and fit for civilization. We love this beautiful blond and all her unique, vintage pieces.Even though most seniors are struggling through the last few weeks of the term, Emily Wiklund ’14 has been killing the outerwear game, spotted this week in a houndstooth winter jacket. Nothing can get more preppy than houndstooth, and Emily even kicked it up another notch by breaking out of the classic black-and-white houndstooth color scheme with varying shades of brown that covered the piece.Speaking of jackets, Eva Borgwardt ’14 flaunted her one-of-a-kind royal blue corduroy coat around campus this week, showing it off to every interested party. Corduroy is definitely on its way back, everyone, so we suggest investing in something corduroy, whether it be like Eva’s stylin’ jacket, a pair of pants or something of the like. Also rocking royal blue in the form of Doc Martens, a Woodstock tee and a fur vest, Julia Gnip ’14 looked cool and collected even in the cold weather. At a time in the term when bouts of existential crises, cold weather and immense amounts of work plunge Exonians into a trench of poor style performance, Mama (Mrs. Sysevich) graced her classes with a classy ensemble, complete with a blazer and a stunning set of pearls. Былa так красиво, Мама!Thomas Clark ’14 wore a wonderful pair of bisque Oxford shoes, transforming his casual post-class look into a preppy masterpiece. We love those Oxford shoes—Exeter, take notes. We’d love to give a shoutout to all the wonderful students at Exeter that are a part of the many amazing clubs on campus. We recently spotted a beaming Christina Grisanzio ’14 and her tutee, Solveige, at D Squared Java. Christina rocked a red Patagonia, while Solveige looked precious in a grey knit sweater, a cute pink top, dark wash jeans and little pink boots. Who knew spelling lessons could be so fashionable?

As a final note, we’d like to thank you all for brightening our fall terms with your unique, bold, classic and all-around fresh looks.

Sometimes it seemed like the weather jumped straight from summer to winter with only a handful of mildly crisp fall days, but you all handled it well. We look forward to a fabulous winter filled with bean boots, fun scarves and cozy sweaters! Here’s to great luck at tryouts, a fantastic finals week and a relaxing break,Mia, Alec and Elle
