By Dorothy Baker
Q: What is the adjustment period like?
A: I can most equate the adjustment period to boiling pasta. In terms of social life, you might feel stiff at first, but once you start hanging out in the dorm and playing sports, you begin to loosen up. In terms of academics, it is the opposite. You probably felt pretty comfortable and prepared at your old school, but once you leave your first math test, you stiffen up real fast. With time and practice, everyone will soften up to a nice noodle.
Q: What do you do for fun on the weekends?
A: Slay the Ender Dragon on Friday (we play Minecraft), sports on Saturday morning, Grill on Saturday night, homework on Sundays. (we promise its more fun than it sounds.)
