This past Wednesday, the girls varsity soccer team played against Governor’s Academy in an exciting and well performed matchup. When asked about how the team played as a whole, coach Jackie Langevin added, “I think that in terms of our overall play, it’s the best that we’ve played so far this season. We are really starting to find our skill set and style as a team.”
With every game comes an exciting moment. When asked about some of the highlights of the game, lower Summer Mansfield commented, “I’ve been injured for the past couple of games, so yeah, just being able to just cheer on my teammates from the sideline.” The soccer team’s spirit is what drives them to be the best that they can, everybody working to support and uplift the team during the game.
Still early in the season, the team is hopeful for future victories. Upper Anna Taormina said, “As a team I know we are looking forward to all the wins we will have in the future…I’m so excited to play with the team I love.”
No matter what member of the team you ask, you will find that each member is looking forward to continuing to play together and pick up more wins along the way.
