Outside the Bubble: This Week in Sports

In a 6-1 win for the Detroit Tigers against the Chicago White Sox, the benches cleared after Chris Sale hit Tigers' slugger, Miguel Cabrera, thinking that the Tigers were stealing signs from his catcher. Sale seemed to be rattled afterwards as he made hand-binocular gestures to the Tigers on the field, being mostly entertaing to the fans watching at home.US national soccer team captain, Clint Dempsey, hit the streets in an ESPN short, asking fans about who else but Clint Dempsey. It seems as though soccer will never be large enough for Americans to recognize players on their own nation's national team. The Arizona Cardinals have started off the new NFL season at a comfortable 3-0. This news is great for Cardinal's fans after experiencing a 1-2 start to the season last year. Could this be a sign of something for the better, or is it still to soon to tell how the season will end up?
