Ryan Heavirland '14 Makes Hole in One

In an unexpected surprise during the golf team's practice on Monday, upper Ryan Heavirland teed off on the fourteenth hole of the Breakfast Hill Country Club in Greenland, NH and watched his shot roll into the hole for an ace.The par 3 hole was 177 yards from the tee, and Heavirland used a six iron to sink the shot of his life. "I didn't approach my shot any differently when I teed off," Heavirland said. "I knew it was a good shot as soon as I hit it, but I didn't know it was that good."As soon as it went in, I threw my hat down and started jumping up and down. [Upper] Kyle Alexander and [prep] Michael Kim were there, and we started going crazy.""I'll remember it for the rest of my life," Heavirland continued. "It's probably a once in a lifetime experience - I doubt I'll ever do that again."
