Spring has Sprung
Spring: the season after winter and before summer, in which vegetation begins to appear, in the northern hemisphere from March to May and in the southern hemisphere from September to November. Spring: the season of happy preps, slightly happy lowers, unhappy uppers and ecstatic seniors.
Preps:
“Winter term felt black and white, and during it I forgot how much color there is. Sunlight brings out the best in the campus visually and the people are just nicer.”
-Miles Mikofsky
“I wasn’t expecting snow, but it’s gone now so it’s okay. I’m spending more time outside, and everyone’s out of the winter term trance.”
-Sam Michaels
“Now that tennis season has started, I’m finally an athlete. No more prep spaz.”
-Jack Stewart
Lowers:
“It’s really cold, but it’s nice when it’s warm. It’s sad because I’m going to be sad once all the seniors leave.”
-Lara Galligani
“I miss winter. Just kidding.”
-Jackson Parell
Uppers:
“It’s been a little cold. Hasn’t been the best spring yet, but it’s been better than winter.”
-Robert Zintl
“I got three dickeys in the first two weeks of the term too which also sucks.”
-Chris Agard
“What is sleep? You know when your eye twitches when you don’t get enough sleep? My eyes have been twitching since last Tuesday. Also sometimes I see babies running around and I just want to be a baby again so bad. Don’t want to be an upper.”
-Lauren Wilson
“This is 333 season.”
-Ali Hassani
*laughs nervously* “I don’t have anything else to say.”
-Emily Robb
“I can’t stop crying. I’ve woken up every single night and every time I wake up, I cry. And then I cry more because I can’t go back to bed. What day is it today? Wednesday? I’ve cried five times.”
-Kris Torres
Seniors:
“I haven’t been up past midnight this term.”
-Jeff Mellen
“I have reached my goal of being a Grade B bum.”
-Hiro Kuwana
“I find comfort in the fact that uppers have the whole college process ahead of them.”
-Rex Tercek
“Let me graduate please.”
-Caroline Sullivan
“I’ve been chilling. Lax season started.”
-Kevin Gilbert
“I’ve realized that I only want to sleep. College is so close, yet so far.”
-Alex Zhang
