Hello Exonians! This week marks a very important event in the fashion world– New York Fashion Week! Many famous and fabulous designers have been sneak-peeking their Spring 2015 lines with fresh runway looks. Prabal Gurung, Tory Burch, and everybody in between is making their mark.Don’t worry if you haven’t been able to watch the shows, because there’s always a way to keep up with the action. On Snapchat, we’ve been keeping up with a live feed of people snapping from the crowds, concerts, and parties all week. Also, if you really want to do some digging, check out style.com’s instagram for a drone recorded video of some Spring Street action.Speaking of new shows and lines, artist Miley Cyrus and designer Jeremy Scott just released their new collaboration yesterday, called Dirty Hippy, a name that seems to fit the collection very well. With pieces that look like children’s toys going to the club, we are calling it a hot mess, to say the least. We also found some notable looks a bit further north of the beautiful world of photographers, models, designers, and buyers. Hannah Mackay ‘16 wore a simple yet stunning, ivory textured dress that ended in a structured, mini wrap skirt. She looked like a goddess amongst a sea of boys in salmon colored pants. Another goddess, Hannah Fuller ‘15, looked elegant in a feminine navy blue, pink and beige patterned silky maxi dress.Quincy Tichenor ‘15 wore a unique metallic snakeskin belt, which he paired with a nantucket red button down and forest green pants for a slightly eccentric look. Avian Song ‘15 also looked super hip in a white and black checked crop top and medium wash boyfriend jeans. As we approach our second week of classes, we look forward to seeing more fresh looks on campus. Stay fabulous!xxxx,Helen and Millie
