Howdy Exonians, Another week, another snowstorm. Such is the life we have chosen in the Northeast. This weekend, many of our athletes will be competing against the smurfs in an epic showdown, so be sure to pull out your best Exeter gear and support them! Also, remember that there is no dresscode on Friday if you dress in red and black, but please don’t use this as excuse to wear pajamas to class. Please. This week, some of you have managed to look sharp despite the fact that we can see the light at the end of the dark tunnel of winter term. Namely, we spotted Kristina Elhauge ‘14, one of the masterminds behind the online PEA feminism campaign I’m sure that most of you have seen. Whether you agree with her or not, you can’t deny that she looked fab in her sparkly crop top. This black knit top, which she paired with jeans, edgy black leather boots and oversized, multicolored earrings somehow looked both appropriate for a night club and classy enough for class. Kristina routinely makes some of the most unique style choices on campus, and she certainly stood out this week. The snow may be a pain to walk in, but it certainly allows for students and teachers alike to pull out their loveliest winter wear. Gwedolyn Wallace ‘17 was spotted wearing a red-and-black plaid wool coat over black jeans, and of course paired with her adorable smile. In the sea of black and gray parkas that New Hampshire winters summon, this colorful coat really caught our eyes. We also really enjoyed the watermelon hat, belonging to Zadie Ross ‘16, and worn primarily by Quinn Hickey ‘16. Handknit by Zadie’s grandma, this piece is fun, warm and stylish, and it gives Quinn a whole new look. We do love teamwork.Even though almost everyone makes it through the snow in the Bean Boots, Timbs or Hunter boots, Torrey Foster ‘16 has been rockin a great pair of vintage brown, heavy boots, matched with cuffed dark-washed jeans. The dark blue of the jeans and the chocolate brown is a wonderful way to avoid all black—winter's default color. On the other hand, Tommy Song ‘16 has a well deserved spot in this article. Whether killing the singing game on stage or the clothing game on the paths, Tommy dresses to impress. One of his most impressive pieces, a structured lightly-colored leather backpack, is one of the coolest on campus. Not only is it deep enough to fit all of our school books, but it's aesthetically pleasing enough to distract from the fact that we're at school. Kudos to you, Tommy! Two more weeks until break guys! Until then, stay fabulous and stay fashionable. XOXO, Elle and Alec
