About a month ago, Beyoncé released a self-titled "Visual Album" featuring Jay-Z, Frank Ocean, Drake and more without any press-release or advertisement. The album included 14 songs and 17 videos, topping the Billboard 200 for weeks. Here is what some of the PEA community had to say on Beyoncé’s newest album: Asile Patin ‘14: “It's fantastic because the album was able to become as popular as it did without any advertisement or forwarding. It also had tons of people involved for every music video. The fact that it wasn't leaked was just great!” Ms. Min Zhao, modern languages instructor: “I am not aware of her new album.” Graham Hazlett ‘16: "There's a new Beyoncé album?" Barbie Sarkozi ‘14: "Well, I really like the new concept of the album and that it came out without any advertising. The songs are great and catchy. Shows a new face of Beyoncé—music videos are creative." Moises Escobar ‘15: "I don't even…" Josh Martinez ‘15: "Her line, "I sneezed on the beat, and the beat got sicker" is probably one of the most creative that I've heard in a while."
