Sponsr.Us, co-founded by upper Brandon Wang, is a non-profit organization that works to mentor and fundraise student-lead initatives across the country.Through Sponsr.Us, every dollar counts. The organization is 501(c)(3) certified, ensuring that all donations are tax-deductible, and that they go completely to the intended student enterprises. It is run solely by high school and collegestudents who personally work to make each project a reality. The origins of Sponsr.Us involve an incredible partnership between students of Exeter and Andover, despite the two schools long-running rivalry. Wang coordinated with the three students to create the non-profit. "Sponsr.Us is unique because it represents a collaboration between Exeter and Andover students, Wang said. Although many of us have graduated from our high school and gone on to college, the spirit of collaboration is still present."The goal of Sponsr.Us outshines its impressive beginnings. Students who have goals for themselves and their schools submit projects to Sponsr.Us. The organization works to meet their needs, and rationalize their dreams. The profiles are posted online to raise awareness for the projects and to donate every cent raised to students.This non-profit organization focuses on teaching students helpful organizational tools for the future. Sponsr.Us helps students learn valuable skills through the stages of planning, fundraising, launching, reiterating and sustaining their projects, according to its website.
