Come on, is this even a question? Christopher Matlack. Teacher of all teachers — and classroom of all classrooms! He has a deer head on his wall! A. DEER. HEAD. That alone puts him over the top. Not to mention his exquisite collection of fine bird specimens tucked away in his drawers. The wood models of shorebirds and ducks are such a pleasant greeting to my 8 a.m. on a Monday. And let’s not forget the beautiful view of campus he has outside his window. And his location is perfect. He has the perfect vicinity to lead his class down the stairwell and outside to his ecology tree-walks around campus. Mr. Matlack — you and your classroom are THE GOATS! And no one can say otherwise.
